About the Author
Dr. Terry Brown is currently a Reader in Applied Molecular Biology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at UMIST, Manchester, U.K. His main research interests are molecular evolution of plant genomes and biomolecular archaeology, the latter involving sequence analysis of ancient DNA in preserved wheat seeds in order to study the origins and development of agriculture.
